Holiday presents for the non-Glacia crowd
Dec. 26th, 2013 07:58 pmHannibal had mailed most of his presents to Glacia, but not everybody he knew was there.
He remembered Jono saying something about going home, but he wasn't entirely sure where "home" was, so he left Jono's present he left at The Boards:
Roch Modrzejewski, Fantasias on Operas, Guitar Classics: Works by Albéniz, Bach, Dowland, Granados, Scarlatti, Sor and Other Great Composers, and Classical Masterpieces for Electric Guitar.
Dear Jono,
Our musical tastes don't seem to coincide much, but I thought you might appreciate these regardless. I look forward to hearing you play again.
Your friend,
Hannibal Lecter
He sent Dracula's to the hotel; a bit afraid of what sorts of holiday crush there might be, he triple-packaged it to avoid any literal crushing.
20th Century Pop Culture (loaded onto an already-set-up iPad so that when it's turned on, that's the first thing visible)
Teach Yourself Visually: iPad (in paper).
My dear Count,
I know you haven't had much opportunity to learn about the modern world, and I can only imagine how confusing relating to some of these teenagers must be. Many people face much less of a generation gap with much less grace than you do. However, if you do care to learn, I hope you will enjoy these gifts and the opportunity they present. If you are not so inclined, I will not be offended, as I hope you are not.
Your friend,
Hannibal Lecter
