Sidra, Glacia, early Saturday Fandom time
Mar. 7th, 2015 10:13 pmAfter his trip to see Raven, Hannibal stopped for a while in Sidra; he had some time, after all, given how quickly it moved here as compared to Fandom. He had a lovely chat with Ermengarde and exchanged a few herbs, then packed up what books of Jono's he could find to bring back with him.
Then he changed into local clothing and headed into the city. He had one more appointment.
Most of the buyers from the original ring had been cleaned up already - if not by Hannibal, then by Jono and Morton. But this one had proven a bit more elusive. And he was a staunch Hobart supporter, which meant both that he was more paranoid than some of the others, and that Hannibal had wanted to wait until Karla had her Craft back, just in case of backlash.
Then again, this one had been particularly rude to the children he'd received, so that might not be a problem.
He couldn't just walk into this man's estate; instead he found himself having to take extra time to disguise himself before manipulating his way into the stables, then charming his way into the kitchens. He finally slipped away after dinner, knocked out one of the servants, and took his place.
It was possible he was more annoyed with this particular pig than the others; he would much rather have been back at home already. He was, however, a professional. And once he made his way into the room, this one went the way of all the others.
Hannibal left with his liver. And, very carefully, his dead Rose Jewel.
His task wasn't done quite yet.
[OOC: Cut for non-graphic murder and mention of child abuse. Because Hannibal and Kaeleer. NFB, NFI]
