Hannibal's house, Saturday

sharp_as_knivesHannibal woke to the hissing sound of...was that snow or sand against the windows? He pulled back the curtains, rubbed his eyes, and stared at the glitter for a moment.
Then he firmly closed the curtains again, did a quick round to ensure the house was adequately secured, and cancelled any plans he'd had of leaving the house. Today was definitely a day to read by the fire with some nice music playing. Maybe even a cat in his lap (not that he had much say in that).
He only hoped this ended before Monday.
