Nobody new this semester, but here's the folks I do have:

That's Doctor Hannibal Lecter, as he's sure to introduce himself as. He's not one of those teachers that'll ask students to call him Hannibal; if they call him Mr. Lecter, they'll probably get corrected. He worked for his MD and PhD, and he's proud of them.
He's proud of a lot of things, really: his intellect, his cooking, his abilities as a therapist, his artistry when gruesomely displaying his victims...
Yeah, if you missed pop culture for the last twenty years or so, he's a cannibalistic serial killer. But otherwise, he's a really nice guy! Or at least he plays one well.
He likes teaching at Fandom; he's met some fascinating people and really expanded his views on what's possible since he got here. Most of the students are quite decent for teenagers; he's especially fond of
myownface and Zhari of
3girls_1core, though there are a number he's keeping an eye on; he likes to encourage potential.
He also loves cookinghis friends for his friends (you're breaking his heart,
furnaceface - think of the cannibal!), and if you get in his good graces (or he wants in yours) you're likely to find yourself very well fed (no human except by prior arrangement).
He's currently carrying on a torrid recipe-and-letter-exchange with
glacial_queen's cook Ermengarde.
Full infopost with pics and links here. PB is Mads Mikkelsen, because he plays him on TV.
Found at
voiceoverdue. Cecil is a Freshman, and is 15 is 42 is 36 it's complicated. Cecil is from Night Vale, which means he's one of the few people on the island from a canon weirder than the island. If you follow his canon, he left Night Vale some time between "Subway" and "Dana". If you don't...look, Dr. Doom as a teacher was normal; his big sis being a ghost was cool; his roommate being a librarian sent him into a panic attack.
Cecil's a pretty sweet guy, if a little flaky at times. He's an incurable optimist and a card-carrying fatalist. He also doesn't believe in mountains and he's not too sure about the moon. Lest you think he's a lightweight, though, his previous schools all issued and trained their students in high-powered weaponry, and murder was only recently declared illegal in Night Vale.
Is currently rooming in 216 with
3girls_1core, though he only knows about Sholeh, and with Foucault, his pet osmingo (a still-growing bird, like a flamingo but with bugged-out ostrich eyes and will be ostrich-sized; thanks to MP for the species name and to
hatesmoststuff for the pet). Works for
dr_manly_voice at the antique store, and is on student council. Enjoys having fun and/or causing mayhem with
regretiz4suckas (and
myownface, if he'll ever be seen with them again). Platonically adores
tigerundercover and
callmemavy. Still is slightly terrified of
glacial_queen. Is deeply in love with
perfect_coif.
Is an insanely huge fan of all things radio, and a "big fan of science" (which he's fairly awful at). Is really, really enthusiastic about a lot of things.
PB is Joseph Gordon-Levitt, though you won't see much of him; we don't know much about what Cecil looks like, so I try to keep it as nonspecific as possible. His full infopost with links is here.
Also Lorelei; call me whichever you prefer. I'm not fussy. In fandom forever, in Fandom since summer, because MP tweeted that she really wanted to see Hannibal teach cooking. *glare* (I'm told that many things are All MP's Fault; this is one of them.)
42, currently in Cleveland wishing I was back in Georgia (especially in winter). I live with my mother and four cats; my mom understands things like "I'll be writing all weekend for Yuletide/BDE/Big Bang, so don't bug me", the cats don't.
I'm on Twitter as LlwydenFG, AIM as Llwyden, tumblr as Llwyden, mail as Llwyden at trickster dot org, though if you want to do something with one of my folks, you're better off mailing fh.hannibal or fh.cecilpalmer at gmail; I'll see it faster.
I work doing tech support in a call center, and I'm a manager; this means I have a decent amount of leeway and flexibility, but my ability to ping back is sporadic. If I get on a three-hour call, I can't ping. I'm always up for SP!
