As enjoyable as cooking for large groups was, and as interesting as all the possible children were, eventually even Hannibal needed a bit of quiet.
He left the others as they were and snuck off to the music room - it was soundproofed and very quiet, and he could put on a bit of ambient music at low volume and decompress.
