It was fairly quiet this time of night, though there were probably still one or two around for the late-night room service and prep for tomorrow. Hannibal was hoping they could be convinced or paid into helping, or at least not actively hindering.

If it came down to it, he was perfectly prepared to truss them up in a corner; it would be a kindness far above spam!

Jono wasn't with the main group, no. He was playing lookout, sitting down not far from the kitchen and taking his sweet time - for some mysterious reason - with a cocktail that managed to have more layers of colour than some boxes of crayons he'd seen in his lifetime.

This what what he got when he asked for 'something simple.' Honestly, now.

Not yet, Hannibal thought back at him. Just preemptive worrying.

*Pffft, how can we be in trouble? I'm here, we'll all be fiiiiiine.*

Someone might have gotten a little carried away at the tequileria. Jewel or not, it had been a long time since Karla had drunk real alcohol.

Hannibal just shook his head. Maybe he could do this alone?

"Don't look so grumpy, Hanni darling," Karla said, leaning over to give him a loud, smacking kiss on his cheek if he'd let her. "We're going to go get into mischief! It's one of the things I'm best at!"

Hannibal would absolutely allow the kiss, but he was still giving her a look. "I've long suspected as much. I look forward to it, but please do not shorten my name." And maybe you'd had enough tequila for one day, Karla?

Pfft, lies.

And Karla was returning that look with one of exaggerated innocence. "Wouldn't dream of it," she said, Very Solemnly.

The corner of Sparkle's mouth was twitching a little at the whole exchange. Personally, he thought Hanni was an adorable nickname. He also respected him too much to call him anything but Doctor Lecter.

But he could appreciate it for what it was, and be super damn amused when Karla got away with it.

"Do you think they have the door locked? I brought my lockpicks along, just in case," he shared, smirking. Because, hey, there was no shame in bringing break-and-enter supplies along on a school vacation, right? It wasn't like he was breaking into poor people's homes or anything. This was a cruise ship.
