Coup de cuisine!
It was fairly quiet this time of night, though there were probably still one or two around for the late-night room service and prep for tomorrow. Hannibal was hoping they could be convinced or paid into helping, or at least not actively hindering.
If it came down to it, he was perfectly prepared to truss them up in a corner; it would be a kindness far above spam!
[OOC: Open to those recruited, anyone they might have told, and anyone who sees them and wonders what's up!]

"Do we want this to be fun? Or devastatingly effective?" she asked. "Effective means that I can wrap sight and sound shields around us, pass into the kitchens, unlock from the inside and keep us completely hidden until we're done. Fun is, well..." She grinned at him, pure mischief. "Fun involves me not doing all that and seeing how sneaky we can be on our own."
Sure, the odds of getting caught increased exponentially, but there was something thrilling about having to run away, stifling giggles.
...Not that Karla had ever done anything like this before, really. Always legal and aboveboard, that's her!
[Fleeing for several hours should be home around 10:30 EST! SP is love!]

Jono wasn't with the main group, no. He was playing lookout, sitting down not far from the kitchen and taking his sweet time - for some mysterious reason - with a cocktail that managed to have more layers of colour than some boxes of crayons he'd seen in his lifetime.
This what what he got when he asked for 'something simple.' Honestly, now.

Someone might have gotten a little carried away at the tequileria. Jewel or not, it had been a long time since Karla had drunk real alcohol.

And Karla was returning that look with one of exaggerated innocence. "Wouldn't dream of it," she said, Very Solemnly.

But he could appreciate it for what it was, and be super damn amused when Karla got away with it.
"Do you think they have the door locked? I brought my lockpicks along, just in case," he shared, smirking. Because, hey, there was no shame in bringing break-and-enter supplies along on a school vacation, right? It wasn't like he was breaking into poor people's homes or anything. This was a cruise ship.

"Thank you."

"Can you promise not to damage the ship's hull?"

She wouldn't. She liked Karla. Karla seemed to understand her.
"Plus you have a baby to take care of."
Because she couldn't look all sentimental, now could she?

He doubted it would be.
